Nov 6 release ... and a new track

Tuesday, November 6th is the official release date of Start It Over! For real. The album is mixed, mastered and currently at Kufala in LA being pressed. Yes, we are excited.

Here's another sneak peek -- you can listen to Nothing Stays The Same (just click on the music player and it should start the track up). Let us know what you think . Know Your Name has been played over 1,500 times on our site in the last few days. We chose Nothing Stays The Same this time out because it dips into moody soul territory which may remind you of tunes like Then We'll Know (Khronos) or Intuition (Subtle Ways) -- but you tell us.

update: new press quote from the upcoming November issue of Seattle Sound:

"Start It Over marks yet another soulful milestone in the career of a local indie treasure that only gets better with age." -- Jason Kirk

Enjoying both new tracks- thanks for the sneak peak. You've whetted my appetite; cannot wait for the whole thing. Will you guys be touring to celebrate the release? I hope so- and remember, Ireland needs exposure to you guys! ;)

Dan the man: I have a spare room for you in Ireland during your tour! Will all five of you plus crew fit in one double bed? ;) Seriously, if I can help make Ireland happen if you come to Europe, I'd like to do that. Selfishly because I'd get to see you guys perform again- with your fresh new stuff AND I'd get pleasure seeing an Irish audience introduced to my favorite Seattle band. I have thought on more than one occasion about you performing at this awesome venue in central Dublin: Vicar Street www. vicarstreet. com/. I saw the Flaming Lips there a year ago and have been waiting for something good to come back there because the venue was intimate but big enough to get good crowd energy (whatever that means! ;) It's on my way to work and every day I pass by I think of you guys playing there (ok not every day but often enough.) I'm no professional but I could always be a local contact for you guys for making contact, etc. And if Ireland doesn't happen, then hopefully I can plan my next trip back to Seattle when you guys will be playing. You know, your show on new year's 2006- that was a couple days before I moved and I think it's time for a blow out follow up. Pulease gentlemen!
